What the job is
Services: Haircuts, styling, coloring, straightening, permanents, conditioning, manicures, pedicures, waxing/threading, facials, makeup application, and geriatric massage for adults ages 55 and older.
Schedule: At least three weekdays per week, four hours per day, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.; stylist selects the schedule.
Complimentary services: One basic service monthly for up to 10 adult day health participants per location; two monthly if participation is fewer than six. Additional free services may be approved. Basic services include shampoo, conditioning, and a simple hairstyle or basic barber cut.
Payment model: Participants purchase other services at preset menu prices. Space, equipment, water, and electricity are provided at no cost in exchange for the complimentary services.
Service events: Organize periodic days of service involving skilled volunteers.
Term: Through December 31, 2027, with two optional one-year extensions.
Insurance: General liability of $1 million per occurrence/$2 million aggregate, auto liability of $1 million, umbrella liability of $1 million, and statutory workers’ compensation with $500,000 employer’s liability.
