Locations: 170 Derby Avenue; 100 Jewell Street; 199 Wilmot Road; 200 Wilmot Road; 35 Davis Street; 737 Edgewood Avenue; 191 Fountain Street; and 69 Farnham Avenue, New Haven, CT.
Service period: October 15, 2026 through April 30, 2027.
Scope: Clear and treat parking lots, driveways, bus loops, loading areas, sidewalks, stairs, ramps, entrances, fire lanes, hydrants, and dumpster areas.
Minimum resources: Eight staff members, four plow trucks, three dump trucks with salt spreaders, three snow blowers, and two Bobcats with brushes.
Response requirements: Provide 24/7 availability, maintain access during storms, complete final cleanup and salting within four hours after each event, and have all areas ready by 6:00 a.m.
Materials: Use environmentally friendly, non-corrosive ice melt; calcium chloride on sidewalks; no sand.
Pricing: Provide per-event pricing by site for de-icing only and snowfall tiers ranging from 0–0.5 inch through more than 12 inches.
