Staffing: Two consistent guards, Monday–Friday, working 7:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. and 8:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m. Mountain Time; each has a one-hour unpaid lunch covered by the other guard.
Coverage: Backup coverage within one hour and occasional evening coverage; 11 observed holidays and building closures excluded.
Term: Post order development May–June 2027; guard services July 1, 2027–June 30, 2028, with four optional annual renewals.
Duties: Entrance security, visitor badges, access control, weapons and X-ray bag screening, camera monitoring, three daily exterior patrols, package logging, emergency response, and incident reports.
Qualifications: Two years each of public interaction and security experience, with military service allowed in place of security experience; Denver armed guard licenses, concealed handgun permits, CPR certification, annual background checks, drug/alcohol screening, and psychological screening.
Equipment: Screening equipment and Verkada systems provided.
