Term: Anticipated July 1, 2027–June 30, 2028, with three optional one-year extensions.
Coverage: Weekly hours: Emeline Campus 240 plus 20 early-morning; 500 Westridge Drive 80; 1430 Freedom Boulevard 132; 701 Ocean Street 160; disposal-site deposit transport 24.5; Place De Mer patrols 23.
Duties: Provide foot and vehicle patrols, door checks, parking enforcement, deposit transport, staff escorts, emergency response, hearing and court screening, and armed and unarmed hospital coverage totaling approximately 2,500 hours annually; detainee transportation is excluded.
Staffing: Uniformed, California-registered guards need at least one year of similar experience, required permits, First Aid/CPR certification, and Spanish-speaking coverage at designated sites.
Equipment: Include uniforms, patrol vehicles, radios, a dedicated supervisor, and an in-house dispatch center operating 24/7.
Response: Respond within five minutes for designated staffed-site emergencies, 30 minutes for on-call escorts, and one hour for requested cash exchanges.
