What the job is
Services: Provide labor, equipment, transportation, and containers for non-hazardous refuse collection, hauling, recycling, and proper organic waste disposal.
Term: Anticipated March 8, 2027–March 7, 2030, with a possible delayed start.
Bins: Supply and maintain bear-resistant 3-, 4-, and 6-cubic-yard bins with sturdy steel lids and locking mechanisms. Seasonal quantities include up to thirteen 4-yard and three 6-yard bins at Donner, four 6-yard and two 4-yard bins at Kings Beach’s main lot, and two 3-yard bins at Tahoe’s campground, plus bins at nearby beach, museum, and maintenance locations.
Pickups: Primarily Mondays and Fridays, with some seasonal Monday-only service and additional pickups on request. Begin collections between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. and finish by 5:00 p.m.; scheduled holiday service is required.
Bulk containers: Include covered 20-yard refuse bins for July 4 periods, 10-, 20-, and 30-yard bins for occasional seven-day rentals, and a covered storage container rental. Storage size is listed inconsistently as 20 and 30 yards; please price both options.
Pricing: Provide rates per container pickup, rental rates, and additional pickup charges, including disposal fees and applicable taxes. Include annual recycling weight reports and organic waste delivery receipts.
