Corridor study: Assess safety, mobility, and access management along the 6.7-mile corridor from W. Walnut Street to S. 8th Street and develop concept designs to reduce fatal and serious injury crashes.
Coordination: Exclude the Dixieland Road–S. 8th Street improvement segment from study work, incorporate its design, and coordinate with regional Bus Rapid Transit plans and local land-use requirements.
Trail undercrossings: Evaluate grade-separated crossings at US-71B/W. Price Lane and US-71B/S. 28th Street, including conceptual engineering, utilities, drainage, right-of-way, roadway geometry, and safety.
Deliverables: Provide planning-level undercrossing cost estimates and integrate feasibility findings into the final corridor report.
