What the job is
Coverage: Keep runways, taxiways, aprons, safety areas, and airport access roads operational seven days a week, 365 days a year; perform daily inspections and provide weekly condition reports.
Winter maintenance: Remove snow and ice from airport surfaces starting at 2 inches of snow or 1/2 inch of slush, completing work before the first scheduled flight. Plow access roads after airport surfaces, starting at 4 inches of snow.
Summer maintenance: Grade gravel surfaces, repair potholes and ruts, remove rocks and debris, cut brush, and clear drainage ditches and culverts.
Facility upkeep: Maintain lights, markers, and wind cones; perform minor building repairs, routine equipment maintenance, and monthly or as-needed trash removal.
Equipment and staffing: Heavy equipment, fuel, lubricants, filters, and replacement visual-aid materials are provided. Supply qualified operators, hand tools, safety supplies, an air-to-ground radio, photo capability, and a 2,000-watt/120-volt power source if electricity is unavailable.
Service term and pricing: Initial service from award through June 30, 2027, with three optional annual renewals. Please provide monthly and annual pricing.
