What they need
- Volume and termApproximately 2,000 applicants annually over two years, with renewal options totaling up to five years.
- ServicesDigital fingerprint collection, secure electronic submission through ALEA for state and federal background checks, and secure electronic delivery of results. Must accept rolled fingerprint cards and provide mobile scanning when needed.
- CoverageStaffed, ADA-accessible sites placing approximately 95% of applicants within 35 miles of a location; minimum hours of 8 a.m.–5 p.m., Monday–Friday.
- Qualifications and performanceFBI-certified channeler using ALEA/FBI-compliant livescan equipment and CJIS-compliant security; at least 97% print acceptance and results within 48 hours for 97% of submissions.
- PricingProvide per-applicant service fees separately from the current $40 background check fee. All fees must be collected from applicants, with no cost to the client; service pricing must remain firm for the term.
