This solicitation is issued as a Request forQuotation (RFQ).
This acquisition is being conducted on a "brand name or equal" basis inaccordance with FAR 11.104 and the provision at FAR 52.211-6, Brand Name or Equal.Offerors proposing an "equal" product must clearly identify the item by brand name (if any),make, and model number, and must provide sufficient descriptive literature and technicaldocumentation to demonstrate that the proposed product meets all salient physical, functional,and performance characteristics listed in Section (v) of this solicitation. Offers of "equal"products that fail to clearly identify the product or that fail to demonstrate compliance with thesalient characteristics may be rejected as non-responsive. This acquisition is conducted under the authority of FAR 12.603, Streamlined Solicitation forCommercial Products or Commercial Services, and is not expected to exceed the simplifiedacquisition threshold.
