Term: March 2027–March 2028, with a possible one-year extension; projects assigned as needed.
Inspections: Routine bridge inspections, bridge inventory updates, and bridge data entry for the Washington State Department of Transportation.
Bridge evaluations: Evaluate routine and damaged bridges for vehicle loads, including Single Haul Vehicles and Emergency Vehicles, following the WSDOT Bridge Design Manual.
Assessments: Investigate structures, compare alternatives and benefits against costs, and recommend emergency repairs.
Design: Prepare structural designs, plans, specifications, and cost estimates for repairs to transportation structures, retaining walls, and highway bridges.
Qualifications: Washington State licensed structural engineer; work must meet applicable WSDOT, AASHTO, and NBIS standards.
