Planting scope749 acres total using supplied seedlings: 614 acres of loblolly/shortleaf pine at 436 trees per acre (10 × 10 feet); 116 acres of loblolly pine at 484 trees per acre (9 × 10 feet); and 19 acres of shortleaf pine at 302 trees per acre (12 × 12 feet).
SchedulePlant February 15–March 31, 2027, with crews and support equipment ready by March 1.
Included servicesProvide labor, supervision, insurance, tools, equipment, seedling pickup from Cumberland State Forest and/or Sussex Nursery and Forestry Center, proper seedling storage and handling, and cleanup.
Planting requirementsOne seedling per hole in mineral soil, roots at least 6 inches deep without J-rooting, and soil firmly packed. Exclude designated research plots at the research center.
