What they need

RouteNarrated round-trip tours covering Hampton River, Fort Monroe, Fort Wool and Hampton Roads Harbor to Norfolk Naval Base. Fort Wool landings are currently unavailable.
ScheduleApproximately two-hour tours, with daily service Memorial Day through Labor Day and Tuesday–Saturday service during the shoulder season from mid-April through mid-October; at least one public tour per operating day preferred.
Vessel and crewProvide seaworthy, Coast Guard-inspected and approved vessels, licensed crew, tour narration, boarding ramps, mooring equipment and operating staff.
Base operationsVessel must remain docked in Hampton April 1–October 31 and be available for group tours, school trips and private charters. Complimentary berthing and ticket-office space are provided.
SupportInclude ticket sales, customer service, tour marketing and monthly passenger and departure reporting.
InsuranceInclude required marine, protection and indemnity/pollution, general and umbrella liability coverage with $5 million limits, plus applicable workers’ compensation.
PricingProvide a fee structure and cost estimate for one year, with up to four annual renewals, including public-tour and charter rates.
