What the job is
Trucks and buses: Replace or repower diesel Class 4–8 freight trucks and school, shuttle, or transit buses with 1992–2009 engine model years; GVWR of 14,001 lbs. or greater.
Other equipment: Replace or repower pre-Tier 4 freight switchers operating at least 1,000 hours annually, qualifying airport ground support equipment, and diesel forklifts with lift capacity greater than 8,000 lbs.; pre-Tier 3 ferries and tugboats require electric repower only.
Replacement specifications: New all-electric units or motors, model year of replacement or one year prior, with comparable type, size, capacity, and function.
Charging: Include compatible new charging equipment, site preparation, materials, and installation labor; identify Level 2 or DC fast charging requirements.
