What the job is
Site prep: Remove topsoil, grade/level site, install 4-inch gravel base, provide 1% slope for drainage, and compact fill areas.
Play structures: Provide and install Explorer Dome, Double Mega Deck, 8-seat swing frame, pendulum swing, ADA full ramp system, carousel, seesaw, custom signage, and related play features.
Border and surfacing: Install approximately 385 LF of 12-inch plastic playground border and approximately 8,577 SF of engineered wood fiber at 12-inch compacted depth with filter fabric.
Standards: Equipment and surfacing must meet applicable ASTM, CPSC, ADA, manufacturer, and code requirements.
Schedule: On-site work to be completed by January 30, 2027.
Requirements: Active Tennessee contractor license for playground installation or applicable building classification; installer training/certification documentation required.
