- Freshness and packagingFresh, never frozen; bread no older than 48 hours at delivery, or 72 hours for whole wheat and rye. Products must retain freshness for at least five days after delivery. Use sealed or tied, labeled packaging showing production date or date code. Bakery must be registered with the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture.
