What the job is
Work: Collect refuse, brush, yard waste, bulky items, and dead animals using rear-loading trucks; assist with unloading, truck cleaning, and inspections.
Schedule: As-needed staffing beginning December 1, 2026, for one year, with up to four annual renewals. Requests may arrive at 5:15 AM for a 6:00 AM same-day start. Shifts range from 2–12 hours, typically 6–8 hours.
Worker requirements: Able to work outdoors, stand throughout shifts, occasionally lift over 50 pounds, and follow instructions in English.
Screening: Pre-employment drug screening, alcohol testing, criminal background checks, employment eligibility verification, work history/reference checks, and onboarding safety training.
Pricing: Provide hourly labor rates excluding insurance and benefit pay, with those costs and any markup, transportation, administrative, or other fees listed separately.
