Student Field Trip Planning

Group: 60 students and 12 adult chaperones; four days and three nights.

What they need

TransportationDirect roundtrip flights with baggage fees included; outbound departure preferably before 8 AM, evening return arriving in Buffalo by 10 PM. Coach buses for airport transfers and all excursions, with one knowledgeable guide per bus.
Lodging and securityMinimum 3.5-star hotel with pool; 8 chaperone rooms and 15 student rooms with four students each. Separate floors for male and female students preferred. One male and one female security officer nightly, 10 PM–7 AM, covering student floors.
MealsBreakfast, lunch, and dinner on all four days, including hot hotel breakfasts, varied local meals with limited chains, salads, desserts, vegan and halal options, and daily healthy snacks and two waters per traveler.
ActivitiesState Capitol, The Munch Factory, Louisiana Civil Rights Museum, All Bout Dat Tours, The McKenna Museum, Amistad Research Center, Whitney Plantation and swamp tour, New Orleans African American Museum, New Orleans Slave Trade Tour, French Quarter/French Market/Jackson Square/the Cabildo, Haunted History Tour, and Buccaneer Bay or Blue Bayou Water Park.
