What the job is
- Service Term: Two years beginning November 1, 2026, with services generally required November 1 through March 31.
- Deployment: Begin within four hours of notification when snow reaches 3 inches or when otherwise requested.
- Completion: Clear assigned routes within 18 hours of deployment.
- Clearing Requirements: Clear sidewalks to a 46-inch width, including pathways, crosswalks, street corners, and street approaches.
- Equipment: Provide sidewalk-appropriate snow-clearing equipment with proper lighting; truck-mounted V-plows are not permitted on sidewalks.
- Personnel: Trained operators and properly licensed drivers with a CDL Class B where required.
- Pricing: Quote per-deployment rates for 1–15, 16–25, 26–35, and 36+ clearings, plus a per-mile rate for additional routes.
