What the job is
Personnel: Unarmed, uniformed, New York State-licensed security officers trained in first aid, CPR, emergency response, de-escalation, and trauma-informed practices.
Coverage: Monday–Friday staffing at all four facilities, including two officers at 3010 County Complex Drive from 8:00 AM–5:00 PM and one from 5:00 PM–8:00 PM; one officer at each remaining location from 8:00 AM–5:15 PM.
Duties: Patrols, access and visitor management, camera monitoring, incident response, emergency radio communications, and daily, monthly, and quarterly reporting.
Additional Staffing: Ability to provide officers for special events with 24–48 hours’ notice and maintain coverage without service gaps.
Start Date: January 1, 2027, with all assigned officers trained, equipped, and cleared through required background checks before deployment.
Term: One year, with up to three additional 12-month renewal periods.
