Schedule: Monthly oversight and additional consulting as requested during calendar year 2027.
Operations oversight: Review American Water's water system operations and the local wastewater system, including operating reports, maintenance costs, staffing, water quality, compliance, and operator performance.
Technical support: Advise on treatment plant performance and upgrades, capital planning, utility contracts, rate studies, leak detection, and independent water quality testing as requested.
Flow analysis: Evaluate historical sewer flow and loading data for North Brunswick and South Brunswick to assess shared-flow cost allocation.
Coordination: Provide findings and recommendations, attend review meetings, and coordinate with utility engineers and regulatory agencies.
Pricing: Established blended rates are $165/hour for partners and associates and $75/hour for clerks and paralegals, with a $60,000 total authorization for 2027. Travel time is excluded from hourly billing.
