What they need
Scope and termVoice/data cabling moves, removals, additions, changes, and repairs from December 15, 2026 through December 14, 2028; estimated 500 drops, with a minimum of two per work order. Quantities are not guaranteed.
CablingEach drop is one Cat6 run, averaging 250 feet and up to 330 feet. Use GenSpeed 6000 or equivalent CMP plenum-rated, 24 AWG, four-pair UTP cable, T568B terminations, and Panduit or equivalent Cat6 jacks and faceplates.
Installation pricingProvide an all-inclusive price per drop covering labor, materials, permits, supports, surface raceway/boxes, hard-surface penetrations, and high-ceiling access equipment as needed. Patch panels and device patching are provided by the college.
Testing and recordsLabel and certify every run with a qualified Cat6 certification tool; provide test results and printed/electronic floor plans showing cable routes and termination locations.
Response timeRespond within two working days and complete work within five working days after responding, coordinating access and any extensions with campus IT staff.
Labor ratesInclude applicable Bergen County prevailing wages.
