What the job is
Association support: Collaborate with the Community Health Worker Association of Missouri (CHWAM) on in-person board governance training, strategic plan implementation, and website, newsletter, and member engagement improvements.
Workforce development: Promote certification and credentialing, address training and employment barriers, and develop career ladder and specialization training plans.
Employer support: Survey employers and develop tools for integrating CHWs into care teams, demonstrating return on investment, and accessing reimbursement mechanisms.
Qualifications: Organization must have five years of experience in health workforce development, Missouri membership nonprofit operations, and serving designated rural Missouri areas. Project manager must be a CHW with five years of rural community experience and nonprofit board advising and training.
Schedule: Services from the effective date through July 31, 2027; monthly progress reports and meetings, CHWAM board meetings on the second Tuesday each month, and participation in the spring 2027 annual conference.
Pricing: Provide an all-inclusive fixed price for the initial service period and a separate price for an optional one-year extension.
