Extent: Approximately 124.08 miles of sand and gravel roads, 14–18 feet wide; North group: 38.15 miles, South group: 85.93 miles. Work is as needed, with no guaranteed mileage.
Brushing: Cut up to an 8-foot swath from the driving surface on both sides; cut grass, brush, and trees up to 3 inches in diameter within 6 inches of the ground.
Pruning: Spot-cut woody material leaning into the right of way, 2–12 feet above ground; measured per mile for one side.
Equipment: Knuckle-boom cutting head capable of tilting in all directions and cutting brush up to 4 inches in diameter; no sickle mowers.
Cleanup and safety: Keep slash off the road and scatter across the cut area; provide traffic warning signs and clean equipment to prevent invasive species spread.
