What the job is
Individual checks: Identity and address verification; criminal, warrant, pending proceedings, driving, sex offender, civil and bankruptcy searches; sanctions, FACIS Level 3 or equivalent, licensing and regulatory history, business affiliations, and adverse media.
Entity checks: Business registration, corporate records, ownership and controlling persons, affiliates, criminal and civil records, sanctions, FACIS Level 3 or equivalent, licensing and regulatory history, and adverse media.
Reports and security: Verify adverse findings against authoritative sources and provide sourced reports with dispositions and current status. Keep data in the United States, encrypted in transit and at rest; provide business-hours and after-hours support.
Experience and term: At least three years of relevant experience in cannabis or a similar regulated industry. Anticipated start January 1, 2027, for 12 months, with two optional 12-month renewals.
Pricing: Provide all-inclusive prices per individual and entity investigation, plus an hourly rate for additional work approved in advance. International searches require prior approval. Prior annual volume was approximately 199 individual and 117 entity checks; future volume is not guaranteed.
