What the job is
Storage capacity: Average of 250–300 frozen pallets and 100–150 dry pallets, refrigerated capacity as needed, and emergency capacity for 100 additional pallets of each storage type. Facility preferably within 60 miles of the delivery address.
Storage conditions: Frozen food at 0°F or below; refrigerated food at 41°F or below; dry food at 50–70°F with humidity no higher than 60%.
Deliveries: Fulfill requests within two business days, with deliveries between 6 AM and 1 PM. Use mechanically refrigerated, temperature-monitored vehicles for frozen and refrigerated food.
Receiving and inventory: Accept occasional deliveries with less than 72 hours' notice, inspect shipments, provide electronic delivery records, and offer customer access to inventory tracking software.
Pricing: Itemize monthly frozen and dry storage per pallet, receiving and shipping per pallet, pallet reconfiguration and replacement, requested product photos, and one-way delivery rates for 1–16 and 17–24 pallets. Provide rates for each contract year.
