What the job is
Service period: January 1, 2027–December 31, 2028, with scheduled collections based on 49 service weeks annually and 25 collections for biweekly service.
Refuse: Arnold: one 6-yard, one 4-yard, and one 8-yard dumpster serviced Monday/Wednesday/Friday; five 6-yard dumpsters serviced Monday–Friday; one 8-yard Student Union trash compactor serviced Wednesday. Hanover: one 8-yard dumpster serviced Monday/Wednesday. Include containers, hauling, and disposal.
Cardboard: Arnold: one 4-yard dumpster serviced every other Wednesday; two 8-yard dumpsters serviced Wednesday; one 8-yard dumpster serviced Monday/Wednesday/Friday. Hanover: one 6-yard dumpster serviced every other Wednesday. Student Union container must be front-load, slant-top.
Shredded paper: Provide two 8-yard front-load, slant-top dumpsters at Arnold's Print Shop, with Tuesday collection and off-site recycling.
Single-stream recycling: Empty existing 96-gallon toters: 20 in Arnold every Wednesday, two in Hanover every other Tuesday, and four in Glen Burnie every Tuesday. Include hauling and recycling of paper, glass, plastic, and aluminum.
Roll-off: Provide one 30-yard container at Arnold's CSB building, with on-call pickup within 24 hours. Quote hauling and disposal per ton separately.
Service requirements: Refuse pickups before 7:00 a.m.; recycling before 7:00 a.m. where required. Include container maintenance, annual off-site cleaning, spill cleanup, and missed-pickup recovery within 24 hours.
Pricing: Provide monthly and annual rates by service, including labor, equipment, transportation, disposal/recycling fees, and any surcharges.
