What the job is
Term: July 1, 2027–June 30, 2032, with four optional one-year extensions.
Operations: Manage a 400-seat unlimited-access dining hall, Solomon’s Kitchen and Grab & Go, and Brew’d Awakening serving Starbucks coffee; approximately 1,666 students and 540 employees.
Service coverage: Approximately 210 academic dining days, additional early-arrival service, 84 summer conference days, and year-round catering, including off-campus events within approximately 10 miles.
Staffing and supplies: Provide management, labor, food, supplies, training, financial reporting, and dining-area cleaning. Existing dining equipment and utilities are provided.
Menus: Five-week menu rotation with vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, nut-free, and medically required dietary accommodations, including a dedicated allergy-friendly station.
Systems and vending: Use the existing CBORD One-Card system; include pricing for snack and beverage vending covering approximately 26 machines across 12 buildings.
Pricing: Itemize operating costs, startup costs, a fixed management fee for residential and summer dining, and percentage fees for catering and retail sales. Include at least $350,000 in vendor-funded capital improvements.
