Door repairsRepair both doors, frames, jambs and heads; replace deteriorated wood with white oak, including repairs to 5/8-inch frame material. Reset hinges and strikes, restore hardware and repair door pulls; restore the mail slot and seal the mailbox flap at 169.
PaintingPrep, patch and paint doors, frames and exterior ceiling soffits using gentle historic restoration methods. Match existing black with compatible oil-based/alkyd exterior paint; use latex interior paint.
WeatherstrippingInstall NGP 160V seals at interior stops at 165 and exterior stops at 169, plus NGP 200N dark bronze neoprene door sweeps at both entrances.
TransomsPrice separately for each address. Remove plywood panels and air conditioners; install the owner-provided original wood sash at 165 (approximately 3 feet wide by 1 foot 9 inches high) and a matching fixed wood sash at 169 (approximately 3 feet wide by 1 foot 6 inches high). Verify dimensions.
Mail holdersSupply and install two black locking Rejuvenation Porch and Post mail holders, SKU 608597, each 14.5 inches wide by 11.5 inches high by 6 inches deep.
Schedule and laborComplete by June 1, 2027. Include applicable prevailing wages and weekly certified payroll costs.
