What the job is
Well plugging: Three wells in Lawrence County and four in Magoffin County, with listed depths ranging from 1,090 to 3,493 feet. Confirm depths, clear obstructions as needed, and install cement plugs per well-specific plans using Class A cement at a minimum 14 lb/gal.
Equipment removal: Remove aboveground well equipment and flowlines, secure buried lines 24 inches below grade, and cut well casing three feet below grade.
Cleanup: Include contamination testing, radiation screening, and proper disposal of fluids, contaminated soil, sludge, and removed materials as applicable.
Site restoration: Restore access roads, grade and seed disturbed areas, and provide drainage and erosion controls. Maintain permanent vegetative cover and effective drainage for one year.
Schedule and pricing: Complete plugging and reclamation within 180 days. Include applicable prevailing wages and domestic material requirements in pricing.
