What the job is
Inspection and maintenance: Inspect for impact and structural damage, clear gate travel paths, lubricate jack shafts and connecting pins (no WD-40), cycle wheels twice, and test operation per Valtir’s manual.
Repairs: Remove and replace damaged gate sections, hinge assemblies, anchor straps, pins, connectors, spacers, stiffeners, transitions, anchor kits, slotted thrie beams, rub rails, hardware, and end/middle bulkheads using original manufacturer components.
Traffic control: Provide traffic control compliant with the current MUTCD when needed; night, weekend, and off-peak work may be required.
Pricing: Provide separate unit prices for each replacement component, inspection/maintenance, and traffic control in each district, including labor, materials, equipment, and freight. Services are requested as needed through October 31, 2027; quantities are not guaranteed.
