What the job is
Supports: Four ground-mounted breakaway sign supports and 52 linear feet of Type 8 galvanized steel posts, including hardware and foundations.
Installation: Verify field dimensions before fabrication, remove and dispose of existing signs, and install replacement panels on existing supports except where new supports are specified. Include mounting hardware, labor, equipment, and cleanup.
Standards: Fabricate and install signs to current MUTCD and applicable Georgia sign specifications using approved materials.
Traffic control: Include a traffic control plan and certified worksite traffic control supervisor. No lane closures or traffic interference from 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM daily; holiday restrictions also apply.
Schedule: Complete 50% of the work within 135 days and all work within 180 days after the prework meeting.
