Sign construction: Engineering, fabrication, installation, and reconfiguration of mainline and ramp structures using current highway sign standards and prismatic sheeting; plans and as-builts sealed by a Florida licensed professional engineer.
Technology and staffing: Maintain a real-time program database and mobile-accessible public website, a staffed Florida office, and a senior clerk in Tallahassee during renewals.
Pricing: Annual administrative fee per permit including routine maintenance and accident/storm repairs; separate unit rates for structural components, square-foot rates for panels and sign installations, and an hourly senior clerk rate.
