What the job is
Vehicles: Up to two vehicles per reservation: vans/shuttles for up to 15 passengers, minibuses for 16–30, and charter buses for 31–50. Include wheelchair-accessible and non-wheelchair-accessible options.
Service: Provide licensed drivers and fuel for approximately 90-minute narrated tours on paved, unpaved and landfill roads. Drivers must remain onsite throughout the reservation.
Equipment: Clean, climate-controlled vehicles maintained at 68–75°F, with 75°F required November–February. Working PA systems and alternative-fuel vehicles are preferred.
Scheduling: Service as needed over 12 months, with reservations requested at least 14 calendar days ahead and acknowledged within two business days. A route demonstration is required before service begins.
Pricing: Quote each vehicle type's two-hour minimum fee, additional hourly rate billed in 30-minute increments, and cancellation charge. Rates must remain firm for 12 months.
Cancellations: No charge with 24 hours' notice, or 12 hours' notice for unsafe weather.
Insurance: $1 million automobile liability and workers' compensation coverage where required, with $500,000 employers' liability limits.
