What the job is
Locations: I-95, I-495, I-295 from I-95 to west of the US 13 interchange, limited-access portions of SR 141, SR-1 and US 301, and the Puncheon Run Connector south of Dover.
Frequency: At least 20 cleanups annually per sponsored segment: twice monthly April–November and once monthly December–March.
Litter removal: Provide all labor, equipment, bags, safety gear and traffic control devices; collect, remove and dispose of litter.
Sponsor services: Recruit sponsors, handle marketing, identify safe sign locations, and fabricate and install sponsor signs. Sponsors fund the services directly; include marketing and sign costs in pricing.
Administration: Provide monthly cleanup schedules, weekly trash bag counts, and records of sponsors, segments and sign locations.
Safety: Follow current Delaware MUTCD and applicable sign installation standards; conduct twice-monthly crew safety training and work within approved hours.
