What the job is
Scope: Remove and replace the existing generator and automatic transfer switches, including associated electrical systems and natural-gas piping.
Generator: Single packaged natural-gas unit, 277/480 V, three phase, 60 Hz. Basis of design is Cummins C750N6, 750 kW/937 kVA; a conflicting requirement lists 250 kW standby. Please identify your assumed capacity when quoting.
Transfer switches: Main switch specified at 600 A, 480 V, programmed transition, three poles, solid neutral, NEMA 1. Model and total quantity require confirmation.
Temporary power: Provide a temporary generator to maintain backup power throughout replacement; keep existing systems operating until changeover and schedule utility interruptions during unoccupied hours.
Completion: Include existing building automation integration, power-system studies, independent NETA-accredited testing, startup, commissioning, training, and operating/maintenance documentation.
Qualifications and warranty: Manufacturer-authorized installers with at least three years of comparable experience; minimum five-year generator and three-year transfer-switch warranties.
Maintenance alternate: Quote two years of maintenance separately, including quarterly visits and on-site trouble response within four hours.
