What the job is
Scope: Advise on market conditions, commercial real estate strategy, economic development policies, workforce development, and employee recruitment.
Property Support: Engage landlords, tenants, and developers and assist with repositioning commercial properties, particularly in the Buckland Hills commercial district.
Meeting Support: Attend Economic Development Commission and other board or commission meetings as needed.
Qualifications: Connecticut commercial real estate experience, municipal economic development experience in New England, and knowledge of the Hartford and East of the River market.
Term: January 1 through December 31, 2027, with three optional one-year extensions.
