TermApril 1, 2027–March 31, 2028, with up to four additional one-year renewals.
TreatmentOperate a 600-gpm acid mine drainage treatment system using high-density sludge lime neutralization, metals precipitation, filtration, recarbonation, and filter-press dewatering.
StaffingAt least eight hours daily, with after-hours callout coverage. Colorado Class B Industrial Wastewater certified lead operator required on-site at least 16 hours weekly; all on-site staff must maintain HAZWOPER training.
MaintenancePreventive and corrective maintenance of plant equipment, collection and conveyance systems, buildings, and approximately one acre of grounds, including computerized maintenance tracking.
Supplies and wasteSupply treatment chemicals and maintenance materials; manage sludge disposal. Estimated annual quantities: 500 tons hydrated lime, 4,000 lb polymer, 5,000 lb carbon dioxide, and 6,000 cubic yards sludge disposal.
Monitoring and supportProcess testing, scheduled sampling and independent laboratory analysis, operating and safety plans, monthly and annual reports, and equipment optimization coordination.
