What the job is
Scope: Move office furniture, computers, files, and lab equipment; assemble, disassemble, and reconfigure Haworth, CALCTRA, and All Steel modular furniture; repair furniture locks and provide seismic anchoring.
Equipment: Supply labor, trucks, moving supplies, protective materials, and custom crates for sensitive lab equipment; provide Class A driving and tractor-trailer relocation when requested.
Storage: Provide secure warehouse storage and handling, with the first 48 hours free.
Schedule: As-needed services over 12 months, with a possible 12-month extension and no guaranteed hours. Typically Monday–Friday, 7 AM–6 PM Pacific, with occasional weekend, holiday, and emergency work.
Pricing: Provide regular and overtime hourly rates for truck/crew combinations and furniture installers, emergency service rates, weekly packing equipment rentals, and monthly storage rates. Include applicable prevailing wages, supplies, and insurance.
Qualifications: C-61/D-34 license and at least five years of relevant moving and modular furniture experience, supported by three references.
