Services: BLS ambulance transport to and from local medical facilities, including bariatric transport with a bariatric gurney for residents over 300 pounds.
Coverage: As needed, 24/7, including holidays; respond within 60 minutes and arrive within 15 minutes of scheduled pickup times, with at least 92% on-time performance.
Qualifications: Licensed EMTs or paramedics, required ambulance permits, and a main or satellite location within 30 miles of the Home.
Pricing: Provide separate rates for BLS transport, bariatric gurney transport, standard wait-and-return, bariatric wait-and-return, and loaded mileage. Wait-and-return rates must include both transport legs and all waiting time; loaded mileage is billed separately.
Term: Anticipated December 1, 2026–November 30, 2029, with fixed rates throughout the term and any extensions. Service volume is not guaranteed.
Billing: Bill available Medicare, Medi-Cal, or private insurance first; residents cannot be billed.
