GuardrailRemove 115 LF and install 175 LF of Midwest Guardrail System with steel posts and plastic blocks; include 13 delineators.
Terminals and transitionsOne each of Type AGT transition railing, SoftStop in-line terminal, MSKT TL-3 flared terminal, and Type SFT-M end anchor assembly; 15 LF of concrete barrier transition.
Site workRemove 215 LF of asphalt dike; install 100 LF each of Type C and Type F asphalt dike, 2.1 tons of Type A hot mix asphalt, and 4.5 SY of fiber-reinforced colored concrete vegetation control. Include 4 CY of excavation and disposal of 1,500 LB of treated wood waste.
Traffic controlInclude lane/ramp closures within permitted hours, construction signs, an impact attenuator vehicle, two portable message signs, 780 LF of temporary Type K railing, and two TL-3 temporary crash cushions. Seasonal closure restrictions apply at the Grossmont location.
Project requirementsInclude labor, materials, equipment, lead compliance planning, and temporary water pollution controls. Steel must be melted and manufactured in the U.S. Complete work within 20 working days.
