Please quote leak repair and complete gasket replacement for two transformers at Bouse Hills Pumping Plant on Butler Valley Ranch Road, Bouse, Arizona.
Equipment: 1981 McGraw-Edison transformers, rated 15/20/25 MVA and 115 kV/6.9 kV, with about 4,500 gallons of mineral oil each; repair KX3A before KX1A.
Repairs: Disconnect and reconnect electrical connections, clean sealing surfaces, and replace all gaskets, O-rings, packing, and oil-sealing flange hardware, including bushings, three radiator banks, six radiator isolation valves, current-transformer turrets, instruments, and access covers; use manufacturer-compatible nitrile seals unless otherwise specified.
Oil treatment: Provide contained oil storage, continuous dry-air flow, a 24-hour vacuum hold, refill under vacuum, and at least two heated filtration passes; final oil moisture must not exceed 10 ppm, with electrical breakdown strength of at least 35 kV across a 1 mm gap.
Testing: Document electrical and oil tests before and after repairs, test the dew point, and check for leaks for at least 30 minutes at 4–5 psig.
Resources: Include labor, materials, oil-processing equipment, scaffolding, lifts, temporary power, tank-entry monitoring and an attendant, and cleanup; the site provides the crane, operator, and rigging crew.
