What the gig needs
We are seeking quotes for reference laboratory testing and analysis services for patient diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of disease under the VA Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) program.
- Service Scope: Offer clinical reference laboratory testing that performs actual specimen testing for diagnosis, prevention, or treatment of disease; specimen-only collection or mailing-only facilities are ineligible.
- Geographic Coverage: Must cover at minimum one U.S. state; F.O.B. destination delivery to the 48 contiguous states and D.C. is required, with Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico optional.
- Licenses & Accreditation: Must hold all required state, federal, and local clinical laboratory licenses, permits, and accreditations, including out-of-state licenses for each state where originating specimens are tested.
- Test Eligibility: All offered tests must have CPT codes, fall under CLIA-defined specialties or subspecialties, and use FDA-cleared reagents or be identified as Laboratory Developed Tests (LDTs); home diagnostic tests are excluded.
- No Subcontracting: Offerors may not subcontract to another laboratory to circumvent any state licensing or permit requirement; the offeror must independently meet all solicitation requirements.
- Contract Type: Awards will be indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Schedule contracts for commercial items at stated prices for a given period of time.
