We are seeking quotes for a valve disk (DISK, VALVE) supplied to the Navy (NAVSUP WSS Mechanicsburg) for a crucial shipboard system, delivered FOB Destination.
Critical material: The part is designated SPECIAL EMPHASIS (Level I, Scope of Certification, or Quality Assured) because failure could cause injury, loss of life, or loss of the ship.
Drawing and standards: Material must meet drawing 284591-0001 (CAGE 99657, Rev J) plus ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 and MIL-STD-792, which the contractor must obtain.
OEM and packaging: Offerors who are not the OEM must name the OEM (company and CAGE) and supply a signed distributor authorization letter on OEM letterhead, and must give the name, address and CAGE of any separate packaging facility.
Warranty: One year from date of delivery for both supplies and data.
Option and pricing: An option for increased quantity may be exercised 365 days after award, pricing for it is requested, and award goes to the lowest aggregate total price including the option.
Contract terms: Bilateral award rated under DPAS (DO) under Emergency Acquisition Flexibilities; Inspection and Test Plan (Data Item A001) may be waived if already on file at NAVSUP WSS Mechanicsburg.
