We are seeking proposals for lease of Discovery Park real property assets — including 45 acres of greenspace and a 32,000 sf mixed-use building — at Michoud Assembly Facility.
Available Assets: Proposers may bid on 45 acres of underutilized greenspace, Building 351 (~32,000 sf event space and cafeteria), or both in combination.
Lease Authority: NASA will execute lease(s) solely under Enhanced Use Lease authority per 51 U.S.C. 20145.
Utilities Cost: No existing MAF utilities are guaranteed; all utility connections and costs are entirely the proposer's responsibility.
O&M Responsibility: Lessee assumes full financial responsibility for all operations and maintenance of the leased property.
Period of Performance: Minimum 10-year base term; property delivered as-is at award.
Key Deadlines: Questions due September 23, 2026; proposals due October 23, 2026.
