What the job is
System: Design and install Victaulic Vortex nitrogen-and-water hybrid protection for three rooms, compliant with NFPA 770, NFPA 70, and NFPA 72.
Removal: Remove and dispose of the Administration Building's existing Halon system, components, and associated alarm system.
Sprinklers: Cap or plug existing wet sprinklers over the protected rooms at both buildings.
Installation: Include tanks, piping, emitters, detection and releasing controls, manual release stations, alarms, and coordination of fire alarm and HVAC interfaces.
Completion: Include testing, permits, documentation, required spare parts, four hours of training, and a one-year warranty. Complete within 90 calendar days after authorization to proceed.
Qualifications: Approved Vortex distributor/installer with a special hazard systems license, at least five years of relevant experience, and a Victaulic-certified installation supervisor.
