What the job is
System: Furnish and install an engineered Victaulic Vortex nitrogen-and-water hybrid system compliant with NFPA 770, NFPA 70, and NFPA 72.
Removal: Remove and dispose of the Administration Building's existing Halon system, components, and associated alarm system.
Sprinklers: Cap or plug existing wet sprinklers over the protected rooms at both buildings.
Installation: Include design, mechanical and electrical installation, detection and releasing controls, tanks, piping, nozzles, alarms, and coordination of required interfaces.
Completion: Include permits, testing, as-built documentation, spare parts, four hours of training, and a one-year warranty. Complete within 90 calendar days of authorization to proceed.
Qualifications: Authorized Vortex distributor/installer with a special hazard systems contractor's license and at least five years of relevant installation experience.
