What they need

ControlsModify the existing movable grating HPU starter box; install a PLC cabinet on Pier 1N and a control cabinet at the far side span lock platform. Match existing Schneider Electric PLC components and update PLC and graphics programming.
InstrumentationReplace fully seated grating limit switches; install fully raised switches and a rotary cam limit switch, including supports, couplings, shaft machining, wiring and conduit.
EquipmentProvide UL508A panels, exterior NEMA 4X Type 316/316L stainless steel enclosures and specified spare parts.
CommissioningInclude integrated shop testing, overnight field testing with 12 consecutive fault-free operations, operator training, as-built drawings and maintenance manuals.
Qualifications and scheduleQualified Class A mechanical and electrical contractors and a movable bridge controls integrator; at least three comparable movable bridge projects within the past 10 years. Complete within six months.
PricingInclude labor, materials, mobilization, access equipment and traffic control. Maintain bridge operations around approved closures of no more than 20 minutes.
