What they need

MaterialsHousehold, lithium-ion, lead-acid, and nickel-based batteries; electronics including computers, monitors, televisions, printers, and phones; and plastics. Specify accepted plastic grades and forms.
ServiceSupply and maintain labeled, weatherproof containers; handle loading, hauling, processing, and recycling; and empty or exchange containers within 72 business hours of notification.
Recycling requirementsDOT/Universal Waste-compliant battery handling, permitted battery recyclers, and R2/e-Stewards-certified electronics recycling or an equivalent certified, auditable downstream chain. Provide NIST SP 800-88-compliant or equivalent data destruction for data-bearing devices.
DocumentationProvide weight tickets, downstream destinations, recycling/data-destruction certificates, and monthly quantity and revenue reports.
Term and pricingOne year with up to four annual renewals. Include container configuration, revenue payments by material stream, any service charges, and monthly revenue reconciliation.
