What the job is
Training: Deliver 4–6 live, interactive virtual sessions for K–12 school leaders, staff, and safety partners using qualified trainers with relevant school experience.
Content: Cover evidence-based options-based drills, planning and communication, age-appropriate trauma-informed practices, disability accommodations, case studies, and practical exercises.
Planning and staff development: Provide at least two two-hour planning sessions within 45 days of project start, plus train-the-trainer sessions and instructor materials.
Resources: Develop implementation checklists within 15 days and a best-practices guide within 60 days, plus family FAQs and other editable, accessible print and digital resources.
Evaluation and schedule: Include registration, attendance tracking, learning assessments, monthly reports, and a final report by June 30, 2027. Training is scheduled for December 1, 2026–May 1, 2027.
