What the job is
Scope: Review document timeliness and attendance waivers, conduct hearings, assess continued placement using a preponderance-of-evidence standard, and set discharge dates when applicable.
Availability: Tuesday and Friday afternoons, with 24-hour hearing notice; hearings must meet an eight-day placement deadline, including weekends and holidays.
Deliverables: Written decisions within three business days after each hearing.
Qualifications: Law degree preferred; relevant legal training, dispute-resolution experience, or youth hearing experience considered.
Service start: February 1, 2027.
Pricing: Please provide a weekly base rate for availability and hearings, plus an all-inclusive hourly rate for required training and meetings.
